I am in love with arts and crafts. I come from a long line of very
crafty women…they cooked, they sewed, they quilted, crochet, did
ceramics, and made most everything. My fondest memories are of watching
the women in my family create beautiful things. It was incredible to
watching the joy it brought to them and others. Since I was a little
girl all I have ever wanted to do is recreate these feelings and
emotions through arts and crafts.
I went to school to be a painter. After college I needed to pay the bills, so I went into retail management. 10 years later I finally got back to my love...crafting. After my son was born I started scrapbooking, which led me into the paper crafting world and my first job as a paper crafts teacher. I have since worked for many different companies, from local scrapbook stores to whole sale companies. I have held many
different positions, from teacher to Design team manager, to in house
photographer. You might think I would have gotten burned out over the
years, but you'd be wrong. I LOVE crafts and painting and I can't seem to get
enough of them. It’s been a crazy ride, but I am hanging on tight and
not letting go.
You can now find me & my goods @ Nonesuch Place in the West Bottoms. I am recycling, up-cycling and re-purposing everything I can get my hands on. This has been great fun and a great creative outlet.
I am now branching out to other shops. I will have picture frames and other small nick-knacks for sale @ VanDeusen Photography.
On occasion I also have things for sale in my Etsy Shop.
