Grandma & Grandpa's Sconces

These sconces used to look similar to this.

 

They had the brass eagles on them like above but they were larger.  

And they used to hang on either side of my grandmas favorite picture. Which looked similar to this.

     

 (It reminded her of her 3 girls)

 

I unscrewed the eagles and spray painted the sconces green. 

I wanted the metal to be the same color as the wood. 

 I adhered these wood pieces I found at a garage sale.

I then sanded and aged them. 

The spray paint came off much quicker than

regular paint.
